PLAYER NOTES
--LG Jacob Bell was at practice after being ill Tuesday but did not practice because of a hamstring injury. Bell believes he will be ready to play Sunday.
--CB Fakhir Brown missed another practice Wednesday, but it's still expected he'll be able to play Sunday.
--TE Daniel Fells, who has a bone bruise on his knee, practiced Wednesday and might be available for Sunday's season finale.
--DT La'Roi Glover rested his knee another day Wednesday, but he is expected to work some on Friday and play Sunday.
--OG John Greco will start at left guard against the Falcons Sunday if Jacob Bell is unable to play.
GAME PLAN: The plan for this game is simple if the Rams are to have a chance to be competitive: Slow down running back Michael Turner and don't allow big plays. The team's run defense has been better in recent weeks, but Turner will be the best back they've faced in a while.
Offensively, the Rams have been sustaining drives better in recent weeks, but scoring touchdowns has remained a problem. The Rams have reached 20 points just twice this season. For the season, the Rams have just 17 touchdowns, while kicking 29 field goals.
MATCHUPS TO WATCH: Rams RB Steven Jackson vs. Falcons run defense -- The Falcons have allowed 4.9 yards per rush this season, so the Rams will likely feed Jackson to control the clock. Jackson needs 119 yard to reach 1,000 for the season.
INJURY IMPACT: LG Jacob Bell has had hamstring issues at different points of the season, and might be unable to play Sunday after re-injuring the muscle last week against San Francisco. That would enable the Rams to see rookie John Greco for extended action.
