He did it again in a recent interview with Michael Silver of Yahoo! when he said, "Half the people in the stadium were rooting against us. It was like playing road games. We ran out of the tunnel and got booed. It was ridiculous. I was livid.

"In St. Louis, it's one of two things. They either love me or they (expletive) hate me. I'm not a diva, but if I'm pissed, (the Rams' PR staff) won't let me talk, 'cause they're scared of what might come out of my mouth."

In a more recent interview with the Portland (Ore.) Tribune, Jackson said he doesn't want to be in a battle with the fans.

Jackson said with a grin, "My (public-relations representative) doesn't want me to talk about it anymore. I wasn't trying to come down on the fans. I just want to get their support. I know they'll support a winner. They back the Cardinals. They want the same kind of results from us, and that's what they deserve. But you know, we're professional athletes; we have feelings, too. We need their support."

--Wide receiver Keenan Burton, one of the team's two fourth-round picks, reached agreement on a three-year contract with the team July 3. However, a week later, Burton still hadn't actually signed the contract.

--A local newspaper in Pennsylvania recently reported that former Steelers FB Dan Kreider had been invited to the Rams' training camp. Kreider played eight seasons for the Steelers, but injured his knee last year after playing in 10 games and became an unrestricted free agent in February.

However, there has been no invitation to camp extended by the Rams as of July 10. He did visit the team in June, but he has not been offered a contract.
