Apr. 29, 2009 (The Seattle Times delivered by Newstex ) --
I've scored all the mock drafts and sent e-mails to the entrants with their score to insure accuracy. If you didn't get a scoring summary e-mailed from me last night, please get in touch with me via e-mail because it means I didn't have your mock draft to score.
The winners and standings will be published later today. I plan to post everyone on up from my score. Right now, there is a tie for the winner at 19 points, which is the same score Mel Kiper Jr.'s final mock draft would have received under our scoring criteria. Second-place was 18, which would have tied with Todd McShay of Scouts Inc.
Everyone got at least one right. In fact, everyone got the first one right as every mock-draft submission e-mailed to me before the start of the draft had Matthew Stafford chosen first overall by Detroit. Seventy-eight percent of the entrants got the second pick right, too, tackle Jason Smith going to St. Louis.
