(Chanting) Fight, fight, fight, fight!
See, this is why you don’t practice a sport like football with other teams. There are enough fights amongst teammates in training camp. Who can blame the players? You play a contact sport where the egos are as big as the paychecks, while living like lab-rats for a month … of course someone hitting you the wrong way would set you off. I’m not being sarcastic at all. I never blame football players for fighting in practice unless you take it too far (you may stand up and introduce yourself, Mr. Smith).
Well, today the Titans and Rams went round and round with each other in what was supposed to be a friendly practice. A chain of events were set in motion apparently by the Titans (of course, this is from a St. Louis paper):
Cheap shots by Tennessee defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch (shown below, with shaved head) and defensive tackle Antonio Johnson set the tone early in what amounted to a full-scale scrimmage.
